The shredder's working principles:

The single-shaft shredder uses a cutter head to cut, tear, and pull materials. The direct-connected worm gear motor is mounted directly on the driving shaft, transmitting power to the driven shaft via gear transmission. The staggered spiral tooth cutter discs on the driving shaft compress, tear, and shear the material as it enters, breaking it into smaller pieces. High-speed rotating impellers can further break down long metal scraps.

The double-shaft shredder features two relatively rotating rollers with spiral gears. Material entering the machine is torn and crushed by the staggered high-hardness, wear-resistant gears before being expelled. The knife roller, driven by a motor through a high-torque reducer, can handle harder materials by reversing under PLC control until the material is adequately broken down.
