At Manor Tool & Manufacturing Company, we can utilize automated cellular technology to produce your part by deploying our robotic arm to automate the movement of the pieces between machines. In this video, material is fed into the first press for the initial metal stamping. Once the part is formed on this die it slides down a chute, is inspected with vision system, and is picked up by the robotic arm. The part is then placed on the die in the second press and the final stamping is completed. Both final part and scrap web are separated by the robotic arm. Cycle times for this part were drastically reduced by using our automation capabilities. This part is used in the aftermarket automotive industry.
